I'm Sharon Vaknin for cnet.com.
I'm here with the First Look at the Panasonic GT30 series plasma, which comes in 50, 55, 60, and 65-inch designs.
Now, the main difference between this guy and the VT30 series is that it has two sheets of gloss, so the picture quality is a little bit lower but still looks really great and it comes with the 600-hertz sub-field drive.
It's THX certified and has a new black panel for better blacks.
Panasonic also tells us that's its new 3D drive system produces less crosstalk when watching 3D TV.
This plasma is also packed with some software like VIERA Connect, Skype video calling, and DLNA connectivity for accessing content on your network.
And unlike the VT30 series, this TV doesn't come with a pair of glasses, so you're going to have to dish out a little bit extra for those.
Pricing isn't yet available, but this TV will be out in the spring.
For cnet.com, I'm Sharon Vaknin and this is a First Look at the GT30 series from Panasonic.
