>> I'm Nicole Lee, associate editor at CNET.com. And this is the NECN908. At first glance it looks like a PDA or an MP3 player or the back side of a small camera. But it is, it is in fact a cell phone. It's a touch screen cell phone with a beautiful 2 point 2 inch touch screen right here. On the side here there is the charger jack. And the key lock button. On the other side is a dedicated camera button, a volume rocker and the power switch right here. On the back here is the 1 point 3 mega pixel camera lens as well as the speakers and there's also a little slot here for the stylist. As I mentioned, it is a touch screen phone which means there is no keypad. We're guessing there is no keypad just to make the phone smaller and more compact. And on the bottom here you have the menu shortcuts, you know shortcuts to text messaging, email, contacts. Features of the phone are pretty good. Texting, multimedia messaging, MP3 player, camera, camcorder. There is also a tri band GSM phone, so you can use it almost anywhere in the world. You dial by tapping the phone's screen like this. And you sort of dial the numbers with the key input screen right here. If you want to text, just press text and you'll be able to create a message, you have to go through and click the text messaging button. And then it brings up a virtual keyboard for you to key tap through. It takes a little getting used to using the touch screen. As far as features go, there's the usual text and multimedia messaging, email, camera, camcorder, MP3 player, there's also a [unclear] video player that you can load your videos in. The phone comes with 31 megabytes of internal memory. But there is a micro SD card slot on the back. But you do have to remove the battery in order to insert the micro SD card, which we didn't really like. Over all, this is a really nice phone if you can get past the lack of a keypad and the need to use the stylist all the time. My name is Nicole Lee and this has been the NECN908.
