Hey, we're here in Berlin at the EFA tech conference.
And I'm here at the Neato booth to check out their new connected botvac.
This is a robot vacuum that'll sell for 700 dollars at the end of this year.
And its got it's got wi-fi built right in, you can control it from your phone, you can schedule it to start remotely, if you wanna have it run while your at work and have the floor's clean when you get home, it can do that.
I also like the fact that this is more than just wi-fi packed into existing Neatos, this is a legitimate upgrade, it's got a much better battery, with lithium ion replacing the nickel metal halide of before, and also two new cleaning modes, eco mode and turbo mode.
Turbo mode is basically just full speed normal neo, but the Eco mode will run at a much quieter, much softer, sort of low battery state.
That will help it keep the noise down.
When you are watching TV that will be nice to have.
You'll be able to start and stop, and run in the app.
You will be able able to change between those two modes.
You'll also be able to steer around manually, like a toy car.
That's Fun and novel, but it's also useful if you have a specific spot on your carpet that needs a good cleaning.
We'll [UNKNOWN] testing this product out in our Louisville test facility later this year.
