Microsoft Lumia 550, the first cheap Windows 10 phoneThis budget device lacks fancy hardware, but it will save money while staying connected to Windows apps.
[MUSIC] The first budget phone running Windows 10 is gonna start coming to shelves in December. It's the Microsoft Lumia 550, and here it is. It's made of plastic, has a removable back cover, and it will have expandable storage. It'll also have a five megapixel camera on the back and a single LED flash. Two megapixel camera on the front. As a quad-core processor that is a little bit underpowered compared to some of the other ones that we're seeing these days. It's gonna come in for 140 U.S. dollars. It's got a 4.7" display with a 720P pixel resolution. So although it's not as big as the 950, you're still gonna get quite a bit of screen here. I think it fits into my hand pretty well. It definitely has that classic design with the flat side. Now two things that this is missing with Windows 10 that the higher end Lumias have that this one won't. It's not going to have that biometric recognition when you hold up the phone to your face. And it won't support Continuum for phone. So if you wanna know more about that, definitely check out cnet.com and look at the Lumia 950 and 950XL.
