>> Hi, I'm Molly Wood from CNET.com. This is CES 2008. This is a first look at the Manfroto [assumed spelling] Moto Steady. Manfroto, a name well known to professional videographers. Videographers, I know. This is more of a consumer level product however, the Moto Steady. It's a three in one stabilizer. I am not super familiar with the ways of the camera, so I invited our associated producer, Randall Bennett from our New York office up here to demonstrate this for us. It's kind, and also give a little opinion about you know, how it's working for you.
>> So it's pretty interesting. I mean it is consumer level, I guess they say the price is like a hundred and eighty five dollars.
>> Hundred and eighty five dollars.
>> It's a little bit pricey to someone who's really excited about their, you know, getting their soccer moments perfect. But you know, it's, it does a pretty good job of stabilizing everything. You can kind of walk with it, move it around. And you know, I think it does the job, what it advertised for sure.
>> Okay. But that's not all.
>> Exactly.
>> It transforms.
>> There's a couple different things you can do with it. One is in the handle here you can pull this out, turns right into a little tripod you can see.
>> Right.
>> And you can set it down there for those extra small shots I guess.
>> And then this, this dealie kind of folds up too.
>> Exactly.
>> So it's a little bit -
>> It'll fold up so it sits on your shoulder.
>> - more compact.
>> I'm not sure exactly the specifics, we'll fold it up later. But it'll fit on your shoulder so you can hold a more steady shot.
>> Right.
>> So -
>> And it's, I mean again, it is very much like a transformer. Like to do that you kind of -
>> You have to push a button in and turn things around.
>> So it's a little bit 007, little bit transformer style.
>> There we go.
>> But I think you know, we've had it here for a few minutes and Randall has definitely given it his seal of approval.
>> Yeah, for sure.
>> Cause he hasn't put it down.
>> It's pretty good. It's, you know, like I say, the only caveat for me is it's a little bit pricey.
>> Right.
>> So you have to be really serious about your camcorder videos for sure.
>> Which as we know, in the You Tube generation people are -
>> Exactly.

>> - more and more these days. All right, this is the Moto Steady from Manfroto, available now, hundred and eighty five dollars. Thank you Randall Bennett.
>> Thanks Molly.
