Hey there, I'm Josh Goldman with CNET and this is a look at Liquid Image's Ego action cam.
As you can see, it's pretty tiny compared to other cameras in the category and its feature set is equally small though it does just enough to make it interesting.
It captures in 1080p at 30 frames per second or 720p at 60 frames per second.
And it shoots stills, but that's about where the shooting options end.
The battery is built-in, but good for up to about 2 hours and it records to microSD cards and you get microUSB and microHDMI ports.
Only one mount is included, but it does have a tripod mount so you have a lot of options available elsewhere.
It's only splash resistant, but it is shock proof and comes with a faceplate to protect it from debris.
The one big extra that it does have is WiFi, so you can connect to iOS
or Android devices to set-up your shots, view what's recorded and change the camera's settings.
Video quality is good as long as you have plenty of light.
Quality definitely drops off in low light, but otherwise it's a nice little camera if you're looking for something simple and small for shooting point-of-view movies.
I'm Josh Goldman and that's the Liquid Image Ego.
