Lenovo ThinkPad 13 is affordable, durable and portableAt its low price, it's solid laptop for school or work. Still -- don't expect too much.
[MUSIC] The Lenovo ThinkPad 13 is a good option for anyone interested in an affordable laptop for school or work. The next generation model here has better battery life than last year's version, and it offers a fresh selection of intel seventh gen. iCore processor. The 13.3 inch laptop is customizable on the notebook's website and you can pack it with the full HD touch screen, up to 16 gigabytes of RAM, 256 gigabytes of SSD storage and a 7th Gen Intel Core i5 processor. However all the upgrades will cost you so that kind of defeats the purpose of going with a cheap laptop to begin with, but I mean cheap in a nice way. For its price you get a solid notebook. One of the biggest highlights is its keyboard. This comes as no surprise since Lenovo ThinkPad laptops are well-known for their killer keyboards. It feels sturdy and comfortable to type on. There's also Lenovo's signature trackpoint in the middle with physical left and right buttons above the trackpad. The durable laptop is military tested, even though it's not exactly a beautiful design. It has a card and fingerprint reader and a large selection of ports ensures that you don't need to carry an extra dongle around if you want to connect an external monitor, mouse or charge your phone all at the same time. There are plenty of affordable laptops to choose from and the Lenovo ThinkPad 13 doesn't look like anything special from the outside. But if you're looking for something with a great keyboard and construction strong enough to withstand a daily commute, it's a good value for the price. [MUSIC]
