International Windows Phone 7 phones

Phones
-Hi! I'm Bonnie Cha, senior editor at cnet.com and we're here in New York with the Windows Phone 7 launch and I'm gonna show you a selection of the international phones, but I'm actually gonna start with one that's gonna be here on North America with Sprint and that's the HTC 7 Pro. This unit doesn't have a working software, so I'll just show the design really quick. Pretty nice hardware. It's got the 3 hardware buttons required on Windows Phone 7, the back, menu, and search keys. This one has a slide out QWERTY keyboard and it actually tilts so this screen is at an angle. Nice keyboard here. Nice compact design. On the back, you've got a camera and a flash. Again, this will be available through Sprint in early 2011. So, here, we've got the LG Optimus 7. This is an international device that will be available from an Orange starting November 8. A quick overview of the design. It's an all touchscreen phone. A really nice clear display here. Got your 3 shortcut buttons as with all Windows Phone 7 devices. Here on the side, you've got a volume rocker. This phone has a 5-megapixel camera as well as a flash and you've got a 3.5-mm headphone jack and power button, micro-USB port, standard stuff. Some of the applications on this device include a DLNA support so that means you will be able to wirelessly steam media from the phone to a DLNA-compliant device. It also has 16 gigabytes of internal memory, and as I said before, it's gonna be available through Orange so it has some Orange applications on there. We are here with Rey, from Samsung, and he's gonna give us a quick overview of the Omnia 7. So what are the highlights of the Omnia 7? -You know, for the most parts it's gonna be hardware compared to what we have here on the U.S. You'll notice that we actually squared edges-- -Uh huh. -as opposed to the round that we're gonna offer at AT&T. The soft button is down at the bottom, -Uh huh. -that are in the U.S., a different than what we have here on the European device. The middle home keys is an actual physical key that you're gonna be pushing. -Uh huh. -The next biggest thing that you'll gonna notice is this actually has a metal back-- -Uh huh. -as opposed to the material that we have on the phone in the U.S. We have a flip-open back, -Uh huh. -very similar to another phone that we actually have but that's gonna be the biggest differences. -Okay. -The software and the base OS is gonna be the same obviously. -Okay.-And once it's gonna be available, it's gonna be different. It's gonna be customized more towards outside the US market. -Great. And how much memory in them? -For the processor, it's gonna be 1 gig Snapdragon. -Okay. -And the actual hard drive here, actually we are looking at 8 gig. -Okay, great. And this is for the international market, right? -Right. -And has pricing, and carriers, anything been announced for this? -For this one, no. -Yeah! Okay, great. Thank you very much. -Okay. -And that was your glance at some of the international phones that will be available with Windows Phone 7 as well as the HTC Pro 7 which will be available from Sprint in early 2011. I'm Bonnie Cha for CNET.
