Huawei's new Mate 10 phones focus on AI technology
With an emphasis on IA technology Wally introduced it:s new pair of flagships the mate 10 and mate 10 pro.
Both phones feature a sleek glass design within bessles.
Inside they are equiped with an opticore With a dedicated chip to calculate specific AI algorithms.
For example, the phone's dual cameras can recognize objects like flowers and landscapes and adjust camera settings accordingly to take the best photo.
It also works with third party apps, like this translation ap from Microsoft to translate text from Chinese to English.
Both devices feature the Android Oreo OS, a 4.0 amp hour battery, and two rear cameras.
One 12 megapixel shooter with OIS, and a 20 megapixel monochrome camera.
But the phones are different from each other in notable ways.
The Mate 10 has a 5.9 inch LCD display with a 1400 pixel resolution.
While the Mate 10 Pro has a six inch AMOLED display with a 1080 p resolution.
The Mate 10 also has a fingerprint reader below the display, instead of on the back, like the Mate 10 Pro and it has a headphone jack.
The Mate 10 Pro, on the other hand, doesn't have a headphone jack But it is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance.
At this time Huawei didn't release pricing and availability info just yet, and didn't say whether or not the phone will come to the U.S.The company, however, did say that the price will be comparable to last year's Mate 9 phone.
