HTC Desire Eye ramps up the selfie cam: hands-onFront-facing phone cameras not doing it for you? The Eye's selfie cam is 13 megapixels and sports its own dual-LED flash.
[MUSIC] Hi I'm Scott Stein here in New York with a phone that has a camera that's good on the front as it is on the back. This is the HTC Desire EYE. Now if you're really into shooting selfies. I mean really into shooting selfies. Male Host: The eye has a 13 megapixel front camera and a 13 megapixel rear camera. Not only that, this is the first smartphone we've seen with a duel LED flash on the front as well as the rear. Now you can use that to obviously make your photos look better and have it look more like a rear picture. There's also software that HTC is releasing that allows you knit your front and rear into one continuous. Dual camera selfie at once. This is also waterproof up to one meter for 30 minutes at a time. And, as a plastic construction, it's a little different than the HTC One (M8), but it does have front-firing speakers and a pretty attractive design. Inside is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor quad-core for 15 gigabytes of storage to start and more in other configurations. That's the HTC Desire Eye in a nutshell. Selfie lovers, watch out.
