How I survived the Marvel Studios 22 Movie Marathon

I'm so confused. I'm not okay. [MUSIC] I'm Abrar, and we're here getting ready for a 59-hour Marvel movie marathon. So for two and a half days, I'm gonna be in a theater with a bunch of other people and And we gonna watch all 22 Marvel movies starting with Iron Man and ending with Avengers Endgame. I've only seen three Marvel movies, so I've seen Spider man homecoming, I've seen black panther and I've seen captain marvel so I know little to nothing about. Marvel and the Marvel Universe. I'm feeling strangely excited and optimistic about this. I don't know if it just hasn't sunk in yet, like the reality of it. I mean this is kind of huge. We've watched movies for two and a half days. That's pretty cool, you can't complain too much, right? [MUSIC] Okay I'm in the theatre right now, these chairs are actually like really really nice. They are like super wide, super comfy, also I wlll say that the perk of being in the back row is that there's like this empty space behind the chairs, so I just threw my bag back there. Which is nice, so I don't have to [MUSIC] To like trip people over if they're like coming or going. [MUSIC] Okay, so Thor is still playing right now, but my friends are bringing me food, so I'm gonna go meet them. I'm super excited. [MUSIC] So I had about an hour and a half break, and my friend and colleague Alexandra came by and we went and got burgers at Super Duper. And it really hit the spot, some really good burgers And garlic fries. So it was nice break. I stepped outside the theater. I went outside, the weather was beautiful. I'm glad I got to be out their for a little bit. And then came back and I'm ready to roll into night one. I'm wondering how I'm going to sleep, when I'm going to sleep. [MUSIC] How well I'm gonna sleep, but I'm still optimistic, I'm still excited. Yeah, so that was a nice use of my hour and a half break. I won't have another break until around 10:30 AM tomorrow, so we're just gonna keep going from here. [MUSIC] Okay guys, the sleepiness is really starting to kick in. During the Avengers, I dozed off. There were short naps. I just like can't help it but I tried resting my head, and that was a mistake, so I tried sitting upright, I'd still just knocked out. So I remember which means I can sleep, for real. I'm going to go brush my teeth and then put on an eye mask and just get, hopefully, a few hours of rest. Yeah, the sleepiness really kicked in during that last movie. [MUSIC] [MUSIC] We have new beginnings big box of wine in box office. Don't let me get it. So it's about five thirty five a.m. right now. I just slept through. Iron Man 3 and Thor. I don't even remember the name, [LAUGH], of the full movie. I'm really glad that I was able to sleep through the last two. The eye mask really helped. I'm so optimistic. I'm still ready for the rest of this. I was just looking at the list of what's playing next. And I saw it was Guardians of the Galaxy. And I had this moment where I was like, does it even matter? Do I even care anymore? It's all just becoming movies to me, like okay, here's another movie with a superhero, who's different, but they're going to save the day. Everyone's going to hate me for saying that. [BLANK_AUDIO] [MUSIC] So Avengers Age of Ultron is playing right now. There's only power our left shows a little less than an hour. But I actually am not such good in the theaters. I'm a freak. I came back with food for when I get hungry later and then I saw there was a table. [MUSIC] We just saw [INAUDIBLE], it was awful. [LAUGH] We have to de-stress with the mask. Which her's looks so much better than mine. Right? We used different brands. Okay. I was about to say mine looks like it's very obviously not in place. Don't worry we're rubbing the product in. Yes. Very important. This is much needed. Alright we just finished up for Ragnar Rock. I really liked it even though I slept through the first two Thors, I was able to follow this one and enjoy it, which was great. Now we have an hour and a half break, I think I'm going to to do an outfit change finally before that starts This outfit has lasted me a long time. I'm very grateful for that. [MUSIC] I had this weird feeling and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I feel like I'm gonna miss this when it's over. It kinda ends up feeling somewhat like home, when you 50 some hours here. It's been really fun. I feel like if I had reached the point where I couldn't stand it, that moment would have already passed by now. So I'm still okay which means I'll probably still be okay for the next four films. Guys, that can not be how Avengers Infinity War ends. I Gosh the end. And then my jaw just drops and then I 'm just like, you know that moment when you're like hoping the end credits don't start playing, because that can't, that can't be it, and then they start playing. I'm not okay, like that's not okay. That was. That's not okay. Okay, guys. This is it. I can't believe we have reached this point. But we are about 30 minutes away from Avengers Endgame. We have made. We did it. Like this is crazy. This moment has come. I'm so excited. Once Captain Marvel ended, everyone's giving each other high fives. Everyone's ready. We made it this far. We're super pumped. It smells better in the theater than it did last night. I think last night reached peak bad smell and then it got better [LAUGH] as the day kinda started. I really enjoyed Captain America, The First Avenger. I really enjoyed that one. That might Be. My favorite is hard to say. I've been trying to rank them as we go, figure out my top ones, cuz I know I know I'm gonna have to pick a favorite at the end, which is really gonna be hard. But I think that one's probably at the top. Okay, I'm gonna go run. Avengers Endgame is about to start, and I'm so excited. [MUSIC] [MUSIC] I loved Endgame, it was my favorite movie out of all of the movies. It's so weird to be saying this literally 20 minutes after coming out of this. But I think I would totally watch 22 movies again. It was a really fun Experience. I mean you get to sit in a chair and do nothing for three days other than to watch movies, you really can't complain. You can eat and sleep if you need to. I would totally do it again.
