I'm Bridget Carey with CNET here at CES 2012 in front of Dish Network's brand new Kangaroo themed system, The Hopper.
It's a multi roam DVR, Digital Videoo Recorder that 3 tuners in it, but can record 6 channels out at once.
It can record all 4 of the major networks during prime time as well as 2 other channels.
They call it Prime Time Anytime.
Prime Time Anytime can record all of the 4 networks for 8 day straight during prime time hours.
It has 2 terabytes of memory, that's how we can do that.
Now, it also has Sirus radio 74 channels to choose from.
Blockbuster at home, this is the $10 a month extra service.
It has 10,000 extra streaming titles on it now.
The Hopper is also compatible with a Slingbox device sold separately.
You could take what you're recording and even watch live TV on another device like a laptop or smart device.
And if you wanna take what you're recording on the hopper, you're gonna need some joeys.
Joeys can connect up to 3 other rooms in your home to the DVR system.
There's no word on the pricing yet, but the whole system will be coming out in the first quarter of the year.
