So today we announce the Google AI Impact Challenge.
This is a partnership between Google.org, Google's philanthropy, as well as our AI teams, to come together to provide $25 million for innovators around the world.

The idea is, how do we bring transparency to fishing that's happening all over the world?
As humanity is fishing and unsustainabe rate.
So we are using the key learning here the process is billions and billions of points to show where fishing is happening and how that changing over time.
But the sae way we can see a global view on this, we can come in and we can also slipt it out by countries.
So in this case we can see every where this thing fishing In blue versus where Korea is fishing in purple and Japan may be in green or China in red.
We can also zoom down and see an individual fishing track.
So in this case, this pink line that you see here is going to be where one vessel goes.
And we can see that this the Valmitao, which is the Portuguese long liner.
And it's track that it will set is literally, in some cases, hundreds of miles long.
And so what the machine learning is doing is, it's separating where it's transiting and going in a straight line, versus where it's actually fishing over that region.
Regions.

What we're showing today is what we call an augmented reality microscope.
Where we're bringing AI technology to the microscope.
And our primary motivator for this is the pathology application.
Pathology is the primary way that cancer is diagnosed.
Pathology is, it's really a visual, it's about images, what you can see with your eye.
So, really some of the ways that this type of technology can benefit a pathologist is it can help them find very small features that would be hard to detect if they are moving at kind of their fastest comfortable speed.
So it can help speed up their diagnosis Diagnosis.
That makes them more efficient, they can treat more cases.
And there's really a shortage of pathologists worldwide.
Not only are we gonna create this cohort of projects who is using AI for social good, but that also provides some inspiration, hopefully.
Maybe there's a student out there right now thinking about
