Foursquare and American Express are announcing a partnership today that we'll see discounts with the check-ins.
The program will offer deals at retailers like Sport Authority and H&M and even a few restaurants in New York like Union Square Cafe and Blue Smoke the Barbecue Place.
Foursquare users who check in for example at the H&M will receive a 10-dollar credit on their
AmEx accounts.
Foursquare and American express say that those customers who check in regularly spend more money and they hope the new partnership will bring younger consumers as well.
The Winklevoss's long running lawsuit against Facebook and CEO Mark Zuckerberg is coming to an end.
The twins and their business partners announced that they would accept their 65 million dollar settlement after being dealt with a major blow in appeals court.
The twins last month originally announced that they would appeal the case all the way to the US Supreme Court.
The twins claimed that their original settlement was based on
unfair valuation and have since decided to change their mind after careful consideration.

Apple has been in the new a lot lately for its attempt
to trademark the term apps store.
The company has filed complains against major technology companies like Microsoft and Amazon, but the US district judge Phyllis Hamilton felt a major blow when she said that she would likely deny Apple's motion.
The judge said that Apple had demonstrated real evidence of actual confusion.
Now Apple spokeswoman declined to comment.
