Dell's Inspiron 13 7000 is a top laptop, but with a catch
A 1080p touch screen display, facial recognition tech, a speedy new processor and a terrific touchpad keyboard combo.
How much do you expect a laptop with all that to cost?
Dell's Inspiron 13 7000 factor only for 879 bucks plus is a two-in-one which means It doubles as a tablet.
This is actually pricier than last years model, which sold for $750.
For the extra docket, you'll get one of Intel's new 8th generation I5 processors, which gives the Inspiron a considerable power boost.
Plus, the new model is slightly thinner and lighter.
It's better than last year's model in every way except one, but it's a big one.
Battery life.
I got between three to four hours of real world use out of the Inspiron, which is a good few hours short out of a productivity laptop.
It's a shame because the Inspiron is a joy to use.
I found the touch pad size and sensitivity just right, just as the keyboard depth and spaciousness was, these are really underrated elements of a great laptop.
And they're excellent on the Inspiron.
Plus, Windows Hello facial recognition, which lets you log in with your face Still awesome.
