Cricket's Alcatel Authority hits carrier's official stores
Tech Industry
Hello everybody.
It's Lynn La from CNET, here at CES 2013 in Las Vegas, here with the Alcatel Authority from Cricket Wireless.
Now the device has been available in nationwide stores like Best Buy and RadioShack, but it officially hit Cricket Stores starting January 20th.
The phone is equipped with 4.3 inch display, and powering the device is a 1.4 GHz processor.
On the back there is a 5 megapixel camera, and on the front there is a VGA camera.
As far as software features go, being a Cricket device, of course it includes MuveMusic, which is an unlimited music subscription service.
Now, unfortunately as you can see, this device runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, so it's awry dated, I mean, it doesn't have Ice Cream Sandwich or Jelly Bean.
So that's something to consider.
If you're interested, the device cost 249.99 and it comes prepaid with no contract from Cricket Wireless.
Again,
I'm Lynn at CES, here with the Alcatel Authority.
