Apple's red iPhone 8 isn't quite like the last red one

Apple just gave the iPhone 8 a new paint job.
Apple announced that the iPhone 8 and 8 plus are the latest phones to be sold in bright red as part of Product Red.
It's an aids fighting charity program.
Aside from the color there's nothing different about the phone itself.
It's still the same model that came out last year and it cost the same.
The iPhone 8 starts at $700 and the larger plus model starts at 800 bucks.
Pre-orders for the RED iPhone 8s begin Tuesday, April 10th with delivery on Friday.
Now it's not the first time Apple has launched a red version of the iPhone, but there is something a little different this time around.
With the red version of the iPhone 7 The front of the phone was white.
This time, the front of the iPhone eight is black.
A portion of the profits from the sale of Red products go toward the global fund.
It's a charity group that provides counseling, testing and medicine to fight the spread of HIV and AIDS in Subsaharan Africa.
Apple said it raised more than 160 million dollars through the sale of it's Red products, The iPhone 10 does not come in red.
But, there is a new red folio case for $100 that's going on sale Tuesday.
In fact, there are product red cases for all the iPhone models.
Apple also sells product red Apple Watch Bands and Beats headphones, along with speakers.
And there are smart covers for the iPad.
But the product red program extends beyond Apple.
Lots of other companies make red versions of products to benefit the charity.
Mophie, for example, has chargers, and there's lots of cookware products, umbrellas, home decor, beauty products, jewellery, even a 23 [UNKNOWN] Kit.
