>> I'm Dan Ackerman here at CES 2008 and we are taking a look at the Alienware m15x. Now laptop gamers have always had a whole lot of great 17-inch systems to choose from but in the 15-inch size it really hasn't been a lot out there, and that's why we're pretty excited that Alienware's big CES push is this 15-inch gaming laptop right here, the m15x. Now what they've done is they've kind of updated the Alienware look a little bit, you've still got the Alienware head in the back but now it's nice and moved back, it's in gray, they call this design ripply, and they've got all kinds of cool lights on the keyboard and around the touch pad and on the side of the monitor. The nice part is you can get nvidia's new 8800 video card in a 15-inch laptop. This is the first 15-inch that has it. In fact it's one of the first laptops out there that has that new high end part. Now to nicely trick this out it's gonna be about 3,000 dollars; you can get it below 2,000 dollars if you want to cut a couple of corners here and there. Now the really cool part about this is you can come right up here and launch the Alienware control center; and you take a look at all these cool lights right here on the keyboard, around the touch pad, on the sides of the screen, and if I don't like blue I can just go over here and say hey I like purple and click on the purple, hit apply, wait a couple of seconds dramatically and everything's purple. Or I can go over to red and I can make it all red. If I want to get really crazy, I can make the keyboard one color, the touch pad another color, so you can really customize it anyway you like. I'm Dan Ackerman and that is the Alienware m15x here at CES 2008.
