This is CNET and here the stories that matter right now, Airbnb plans to verify 100% of listings and make a number of other safety improvements following a shooting during a Halloween party at a California rental that left five dead.
The safety upgrades followed the home sharing services initial move on Saturday to ban rentals of properties for us as party house.
Airbnb will ensure that 100% of its 6 million home rental listings world wide will be verified by the end of the year.
Twitter is rolling out a new feature for following specific topics, called topics.
The feature which was earlier reported by the verge is launching this week, and will be available globally November 13th, Twitter has confirmed.
The feature will reportedly let people follow more than 300 areas of interest across subjects like sports and entertainment, similar to how they follow individual Twitter accounts.
And finally, a year and a half after a self-driving Uber car killed a pedestrian in Tempe, Arizona, Bloomberg is reporting on documents that shed light on the car.
According to the reporting, the Uber car did not have software that could detect jaywalkers.
