3 ways to get more Google Drive storage for free
[MUSIC]
If you're about to reach your storage limit on your Google account, here are three ways to trim it down.
First, go to the Google drive icon from your inbox and scroll over to storage options on the left for a breakdown of all your services.
Click on the blue eye next to drive to arrange your files based on how much space they're using up.
Delete the largest files first and then make sure you've gotten rid of them for good.
Go to your trash bin, highlight the files and click on the bin.
Google photos doesn't let you organize by file size but you can sort by keyword, location or media type.
Now do the same for your inbox.
Click on the arrow next to the search bar, select has attachment, and type in 25 megabytes to locate the ones that may be weighing you down and delete.
You can also delete in bulk based on categories and keywords.
Select all to get rid of what you see on the page or click on all conversations that match this search on the to Top to get rid of every single one.
In San Francisco, I'm Vanessa Hand Orellana, cnet.com for CBS news.
