No, it's always cool to see what automakers bring as concepts to these auto shows.
And here at the LA show, Hyundai is giving us a hint at what the next generation Tucson is gonna look like with the vision t concept.
Now what first stands out is the grill.
A lot of these Angular panels in here are actually active grille shutters that are gonna open when the car gets to speed.
And I really dig on the headlights.
They look like they're hidden when they're off but you turn them on and they're kind of part of the grill.
It's a really good design element.
Now the body itself well there's a lot of creases are a lot of sculptural elements.
This is all part of what Hyundai calls its sensual sportiness design all the which parametric fantasy and transcendent connectivity, our part I mean I really have no idea what that means.
All I know is that the Vision T looks really really good.
Now when you compare it to the current Tucson, the Vision T is a little bit longer about five inches longer.
So if these proportions remain the same, I expect the next gen Tucson to be more of the size of the current Santa Fe The only thing we know about the powertrain is that it is a plug-in hybrid.
And that makes sense.
Hyundai has said that it wants to bring 13 electrified vehicles to market by 2020, so I'm sure that the next generation [UNKNOWN] will have some kind of electrification on it.
However, we have no idea when that is going to drop.
But if it looks anything like this Vision T concept, I think I'm gonna be a fan.
