>> Brian: We got a pretty good look at the new Bentley Mulzon [assumed spelling] before its formal debut. With that massive presence, long prow and mesh grill you're not gonna mistake it for a Camry. There's something quite MiBach about the lines of the haunches and you either like the front-end or think it looks like it's perennially surprised, but much of what's in those wide open headlight ports is LED based. A 6 and 3 quarter liter twin turbo V8 generates 505 horsepower, but hang on 752 foot pounds of torque, crazy talk. All put down by an 8 speed automatic. Traditional gauges in front of the driver with an odd home position for the needles, but they flank a color LCD. Behind a motorized burl door in the center of the dash you'll find an 8 inch LC display running, basically, Audi's MMI interface, and the whole head unit is hard drive based. Below that door you'll find a suede lined drawer for your MP3 player complete with a harness to connect it or a USB drive or an auxiliary input. In the glove box are the optical drives, SD card slots and a SIM card slot for integrated Telethany via this wired handset, deliciously retro. The Mulzon goes on sale mid 2010 and it's gonna probably push about 300 grand.
