AutoComplete: Polestar is setting up a UK R&D facility
Cars
Here's what's making news on road show.
Polestar is doubling down on its future by building a second R and D facility in Coventry in the UK which it says will focus on cars beyond Polestar 3. That's cool, but we haven't even seen Polestar one hit market yet.
Though, it and its electric successor Polestar 2, both look awesome.
In any case Polestar is gonna staff its Coventry facility with 60 engineers to start All ready expecting big things.
Hey, you know the Honda Fit, a.k.a.
the Jazz, if you're not from America?
Or you're just really into Gran Turismo?
Well, Honda just told the world that it's gonna do a Hybrid version of its awesome subcompact.
And that has us stoked.
It also announced that its forthcoming all-electric hatchback will be called the Honda E, which we hope is just as good or almost as good.
As the urban EV concept we saw last year.
Volkswagen has been promising an affordable electric hatchback for a few years now and while its still not out.
We do at least know what it will be called.
Volkswagens is calling it the ID3 which is.
Kind of boring but better than ID roomzz.
Anyway, it also dropped a teaser image of the car in Camel that our own Andrew Crock described as vaper wave.
Supposedly we'll see this thing for real at the Frankfurt auto show in September.
Find more on these stories over the roadshow.com and we'll talk to you tomorrow.
