Tesla's promising electric trucks, but Daimler might have just beat them to it, with something called the Urban Etruck.
It has lithium ion batteries tucked into it's frame rails.

And VW's Dieselgate moved another step forward in the US with the court just giving preliminary approval for the diesel buyback scheme.
Soon, you chiselled owners will be able to access a website to see how much VW will pay you to take your car back.
The plan to fix two liter diesel, rather than buy them back, is still being finalized.
