Mercedes-Benz SUV lineup just got a new compact seven-seater and no I don't think that's an oxymoron anyway meet the new 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB.
Now squeezing in obviously between the GLA and the GLC the GLB also squeezes in room for up to seven passengers thanks to an optional fold flat third row of seats.
Now, its boxy, upright, interior design is inspired by the GLS, but the GLBs guts are borrowed from the A class Sudan.
In the States, the only engine we're going to get is a two liter, turbo charged, four cylinder engine, which is also the same one you'll find in the A class.
Here it makes 221 horsepower and 258 pounds of torque which puts through an available format all wheel drive system though front wheel drive is gonna be the standard equipment.
And in the cabin the equipment is also borrowed from the A class.
We've got the MBUX infotainment system which debuted on that sedan, and it's here right now in full effects.
Now this spacious little beefcake debuts in late 2019 which should leave you with plenty of time to head over to the roadshow.com where you can learn everything that we know about it.
We'll see you there.
