>> Well VW's experiment with the Phaeton just didn't quite pan out. Maybe it was just too much car for the brand. This car, however, could get it just right--this is called the Passat CC; forget what you know about the Passat, this is in a whole other tier. CC is good for concept coupe. This is a four-door coupe, one of the new rages in the automotive styling business. And forget what you think about Passats; this is definitely high tone. Look at the lines, look at the scale of this car; it's really an upper scale vehicle. Two different direct injected gas engines will come into this car from North America; a 2-liter turbo inline 4 on a car this big, interesting; and a 3.6 V6. It will give you much more power and it's much more the kind of engine you'll expect in here. Inside some cool technologies; they have a lane departure technology that just doesn't just beep when you're drifting; it actually steers you back into the lane it thinks you're supposed to be in. Adaptive cruise control, normally a much more high-end car type technology and a self-parking technology. I'm not really big on those but maybe they've got it right, so all you do is brake and use the gas a little bit and the car steers itself into a parallel spot; we'll see about that. Now this is a vehicle that has a lot of high touch tech; I really want to hold judgment on until I get in and actually try one. This comes to US late '08. We'll have more on pricing then; of course we'll get one in the stables and take you for a spin.
