What's new on Australian streaming services in December
Home Entertainment
It's December which means enjoying the festive season and celebrating with your family.
Or sitting in a dark room alone watching Netflix and ignoring your family altogether.
Yeah family's terrible.
Here are the TV shows and movies that we're gonna be watching on the streaming services this month.
First off is the Barack Obama biopic, Barry.
The movie looks back to when Obama studied at Columbia University in the 80s, long before becoming the leader of the free world.
Netflix picked this one up after it screened at the Toronto Film Festival.
Another fun fact?
Obama is played by Ozzy Devvon Terrell, which is kind of appropriate for a movie called Barry.
Season one of crazy ex-girlfriend is coming to Netflix and you gonna know about the end of the opening credit if this is one for you.
The premises is that a high powered New York attorney packs up and moves across the country to a small Californian town, after she bumps into a first love in the street and watches [UNKNOWN].
It's a pretty way to show but it's hilarious, it's really clever, it's really.
Sweet and it happens to be a musical.

Which has me sold.
Another show that we really came to check out on Netflix, is White Rabbit Project.
It's from the producers of Myth Busters, so if you came to see Grant, Cary and Tory on your screen again.
Then this show was made for you.
Think heist reenactments, electric shocks, and jousting?
White Rabbit Project will be familiar for Myth Busters fans, but it's also trying some cool new things.
The entire first season of Preacher is coming to Stand and I'm pretty excited about this one.
Based on the comic by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, it's a dark, supernatural thriller that follows a Texan preacher suffering a crisis of faith when he gets in view with the voice of God.
And his sidekick is a vampire.
It's a very black comedy and it's absolutely [INAUDIBLE] Worth checking out if you haven't seen any of it yet.>> And to round out our top five picks for the month.
The gory and hilarious, Ash Versus Evil Dead.
Ash has been fighting dead guys for two seasons.
But he's been wearing a mangerdile while he's doing it.
There's lots of blood a guts and on a particularly amazing scene where Ash gets sucked up a corpses ****.
It's not one for the prudes but it's really awesome Those are the shows that we'll be streaming while we hide from the December hate.
We'll see you next time.
Really, a [UNKNOWN] ****?
Yeah, he gets sucked right up and in through the rib cage
