I'm Sharon Vaknin for cnet.com, here with the first look at the Samsung PND 8000 series plasma.
Now, this is an ultra-slim display.
It's only 1.5 inches deep.
It's also a 3D TV and has Samsung's Real Black Filter, so black levels are preserved even in really bright rooms.
It's also internet ready with built-in Wi-Fi and access to Samsung's app store where you can download apps like Pandora or Netflix.
Another nice feature is that this TV comes with a touchscreen remote.
Pricing isn't available, but Samsung tells us that this TV will be out in the spring.
