Hello.
I'm Luke Westaway for CNET here at Mobile World Congress 2014, taking a look at the HTC Desire 816.
So this is the flagship of HTC's Desire range.
On the front, it has a 5.5-megapixel front-facing camera.
That's a high sensor resolution for a front-facing snapper.
And on the back, it has a 13-megapixel camera two.
The display measures 5.5 inches on the diagonal.
It's 720p,
which isn't as sharp as some phone screens out there, but it looks pretty good to me.
It's got a quad-core processor on the inside, and it comes in a range of colors, so there's a nice work been done on the outside too.
I wanna talk about the design in fact for a moment because what HTC has done here is taking the look they established with the HTC One and re-cost it in plastic.
The result is really interesting, and I think that the 816 feels really good to me.
I like that plastic design.
It doesn't feel creaky.
It feels like it's been carefully assembled.
It's coming
out in the next few months around the world.
There's no word on pricing yet, but HTC tells us we're going to be pleasantly surprised.
