Hey, guys.
I'm Sharon Vaknin for CNET and if you've been ignoring all of Google's warnings about a new privacy policy, here's what you need to know.
On March 1st, Google will take your web history, what you've Googled, what pages you've visited and share that data across all of its web services.
You see, right now, each web service like Google docs and Google search has it's own privacy policy.
It's good for you but not to much for the goob.
With this new policy, Google will use information it collects and say Google docs and give you better search results or suggestions based on what you document.
It's pretty invasive but Google insists it will make your daily life easier.
We'll see about that.
If you want to erase any web activity that Google has collected from Google+, YouTube, and other Google accounts before this happens, here's how.
Sign it to your Google account then head to Google.com/history in your browser.
If your web history is enabled, you'll see a list of any searches you've made or sites you've visited recently.
Now, click the gray Remove All Web History button here, then okay and your history will be cleared and free from exploitation by Google.
Doing this also stops Google from tracking anymore activity like this.
But if you change your mind, just click resume.
If you have any questions, let me know on Twitter.
For CNET.com, I'm Sharon Vaknin
