Nokia is smashing its way into the world of big-screen smart phones, with two new Lumia mobiles that outsize even the gigantic 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

Nokia Lumia 1520

Life of the palm-stretching party is the 6-inch Lumia 1520, which offers a 1,920x1,080 pixel resolution, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and a hearty 2GB of RAM.

The 1520 also packs 32GB of storage, plus a microSD card slot if you're desperate for more space, while around the back there's a 20-megapixel camera with an LED flash and a 26mm focal length.

The gigantic 1520 has a 3,400mAh battery, which will hopefully provide decent battery life. It's going to be available in red, white, yellow and black.

Nokia Lumia 1320

If you're looking for something a tad cheaper, then the slightly-less-swanky Lumia 1320 might be the mobile for you.

This mobile keeps the enormous 6-inch screen size, but drops the resolution to 720p, and features a dual-core processor. It has a 5-megapixel camera, which is a significant step down from 20 megapixels -- though sensor resolution rarely tells the whole story when it comes to smart phone cameras.

The Lumia 1320 also has a 3,400mAh battery, and comes in orange, yellow, black and white.

Nokia has made some brilliant budget blowers in the past, so let's hope our favourite Finns can keep the price of the Lumia 1320 down.

New Asha phones

Nokia also took the opportunity to show off the very basic Asha 500, 502 and 503. The Asha 503 is the first to have 3G, and has a 5-megapixel camera.

We'll let you know as soon as we hear about UK prices and release dates for Nokia's new Lumia phones, but in the meantime let us know -- has Nokia made a smart move by making two massive phones? What do you think is the perfect smart phone size? Let me know in the comments, or on our Facebook wall.
