Not content with releasing a gold RAZR with Dolce & Gabbana, Motorola has announced the "Champagne Gold" edition of the KRZR K1, which is due for release later this year.

We're becoming quite accustomed to upmarket tech at CNET.com.au, with diamond-encrusted TVs, gold-coated USB sticks and BBQs spotted recently.

The gold KRZR inherits all of the functionality of its blue, black and silver predecessors, such as support for stereo Bluetooth headphones and quad-band GSM connectivity with EDGE.

The gold KRZR will be available later this year for AU$630, less than a third of the price of the blingtastic Nokia 8800 Sirocco.
