Friends, auto shows have gotten way too safe and predictable, which is why every two years I love coming to the Tokyo Motor Show.
It's for things like this.
This is the Mitsubishi Mi tech and it's a crazy off road buggy.
It's all wheel drive.
It's a plug in hybrid.
And it even has a motor that's used as a generator that can run on everything from alcohol, to diesel to kerosene.
It's completely unhinged in the best way possible.
This thing is totally insane.
It uses electric motors to power all four wheels, and it can spit wicked 360 donuts right in its own wheelbase.
It's got no doors, it's got no roof and it frankly it's got no chance of production, but that is exactly what I love about it.
It's clean sheet free thinking.
And it's the type of thing that you can only find at places like the Tokyo Motor Show.
