Honda's NeuV concept is a robo-car with a side hustle
Cars
Honda's NeuV concept, that's New Electric Urban Vehicle, plays off of the idea that, well, let's face it, most cars sit parked for about 96% of their lives.
So, what's the car gonna be doing while you're not driving it?
Well, NeuV has a couple of interesting features.
For example, it's built from the ground up with autonomous car-sharing in mind.
So it can be sort of acting as your own personal, autonomous Uber, shuttling passengers around while you're off doing other things, and earning you a couple of extra bucks in the process.
Also, it's really economical with its energy.
It's an electric car, but when it's plugged in, it can actually sell energy back to the grid during high demand periods when the energy is more expensive.
And then recharge itself again at night, again, putting a couple of extra pennies in your pocket every day.
It's also got an onboard AI that's gonna do things like learn your driving habits and improve your mood because let's face it.
You're going to want to drive the thing every now and then yourself.
