Audi's immersive in-car experience at CES 2019 will rock you

Hello everybody, I'm in Norwell. It is loud, it is noisy. This is the Audi stand. Norwell is home to all of the car and automotive tech. There's a lot of cars here now obviously, but spin around, there's a giant boat. Look at that. I have no idea what that is but that is next on my list to check out. Anyway, I'm here at Audi and this is the immersive in car experience. As you can see, I have a very beautiful Audi AA in here. We're trying to get a sit in and the whole idea about this is that when causative feature are all automated and we're al getting driven everywhere else by a computer rather than ourselves, we're gonna have a lot more time on our hands. So what are we gonna do with all that time while we're stuck in the car? Well, this might be one of the options. Okay, so this experience is gonna go for about a minute and a half. I'm just gonna do it with you. I haven't done this. This is the first time I'm gonna experience it. It's like a movie with the movements of the car. That's all I'm gonna say. Okay, I'm going to press start on the screen. Okay. The movie is playing. I can see it on the screen in front of me on the screen in the car. There's also screens in the backseat too. I can feel the car is moving. The car is moving in response to the action on the screen. [LAUGH] The car is moving and I can feel the bumps Perfectly coordinated with what's happening on the video. Woah. It feels like I'm turning to the left. As the cars moving I felt the explosion. Wow. I can feel everything This is really cool. [MUSIC] You can see the car's moving back and forth in response to what's happening. Wow, and the Hulk, the Hulk is here. And I can feel every part of it. I can feel the vibrations in the car from the sound system. The suspension is going up and down. [LAUGH] The car is moving. This is really cool. It's really cool. [LAUGH] It's like I'm on a roller coaster. It really is. I mean, you're not gonna drive this dramatically, or self-driving cars aren't gonna drive this crazy in the future. But if they do, sticks to the movies like this. [SOUND] This is really fun because I can see the Hulk and I'm feeling it. wow, the seat is vibrating, I probably should have done up the seatbelt shouldn't I, I think it's moving a lot in here definitely. So there's screens in the back as well, so if you're watching in the back seat you'll also be able to do that. Anyway, this has been the Audi immersive experience at Northolt.
