Smart Playlist for Android (re: Ep 54) – Christopher “On Ep 54, Antuan mentioned smart playlists on itunes and how he wants something similar on Android. Smart playlists are the reason I always use my iPod Touch for music and why I have been hesitant towards getting an Android phone instead of an iPhone (I currently have an iPod Touch and EEE Pad Transformer). However, I was looking for an easy way to transfer podcasts from iTunes to my Transformer when I found an app called iSyncr. It can sync with iTunes and transfer smart playlists along with play counts and ratings, both ways. It even allows you to make your own smart playlists on the app, which it calls “”Live Lists”". This makes it much better than doubleTwist, although the ui is not as nice. It also has a wireless sync add-on as doubleTwist has, which is a feature I had been wanting with iOS, and is finally coming in iOS 5. Well, I hope I helped Antuan find what he was looking for. Love the show.

P.S. What’s with ignoring the EEE Pad Transformer. You’ve been recommending the Xoom, and not you say you will recommend the Galaxy Tab 10.1. The Transformer has some better features than the tab (such as a microSD card slot), and it is $100 cheaper.
