>> I'm Dan Ackerman, senior editor at CNET.com and we are taking a look at the Widow PC Sting 517D. Now Widow PC is known for their super high end gaming desktops, this is one of their forays into the land of gaming. Laptops and it's tricked out with pretty much every high-end component you can find, from the latest Intel core two duo CPU2 in videos new 7950 little graphics chip. You know that this is something a little bit different than your average gaming laptop, when you fold down the lid and you see a gigantic honking spider on the back. Inside you are going to find a massive 17 inch wide screen display and a full-size keyboard, so full-sized it even has its own separate number pad. Got a generous touchpad in between the two mouse buttons is a four way D pad. You've also got your standard transport controls along the front edge, volume, fast forward, rewind and a cool LED readout that tells you what time it is, in military time of course and how charged the battery is whether the laptop is plugged in and whether or not you're getting a WiFi signal. Now if you want to take all the gaming business and output it to your big-screen plasma or LCD TV, you've got a DVI and S video outputs for doing that. You've also got a TV tuner input right here, something pretty rare on a laptop. Of course all this power doesn't come cheap and it doesn't come light, at over 10 pounds with the AC adapter this is one of the heaviest laptops we've ever seen. If you pack up all the options like we did, it's going to be almost 5,000 dollars which is a hefty premium over even other premium brands like alien ware.
