Hey folks, Megan Wollerton for c|net Appliances, here at the Whirlpool booth at c|net 2015 with their double drawer French door refrigerator.
This thing is gonna come out in April and cost about $3000.
The thing that's really interesting about it is, is that it's adding two side by side drawers, a left and a right drawer.
For customizing your food storage space.
It's really all about optimizing the space you have, figuring out what things can go where, and then you'll never lose anything ever again.
The left drawer is designed for specific things.
You can defrost meat.
You can put your sodas there, and if you push the soda button.
It'll actually update the temperature so it will optimize that drink for you.
It's the same with the defrost.
Press defrost and it'll defrost your meat for you without leaving it out on the countertop or anything else that's kind of gross.
The other side is optimized for your produce, so you can stick your fruits and you vegetables in there and.
And it will keep them nice and fresh.
So, if you're the kind of person who is always losing your food in your fridge, this could be a good option for you, so check it out come April.
Thanks for watching this first look of Whirlpool double-drawer french door refrigerator.
