So maybe you're ready for an Apple watch.
Apples's Smart Watch is in its second iteration.
And thanks to better software, it's a better experience this time around.
But there are two.
Series 1, and Series 2. You still don't need a smart watch probably, but for messages, tracking fitness, and staying connected at a glance, Apple Watch is the best smart watch, as long as you have an iPhone.
Here's the difference, Series 1 costs less than the Series 2. They both come in aluminum, but Series 2 also has more expensive steel and ceramic step up models.
The Series 1 has a faster processor than the original Apple Watch, but it's pretty much the same otherwise.
But that faster processing means apps load a bit better and everything feels smoother.
And yes its just as fast as apple watch series too.
Series two adds GPS that's really only useful for runners who run without their phones.
And you can swim with it but don't forget that series one will not being swim proof still water resistant.
You can dip it in the tub no worries.
Battery life is a bit better on series two though, maybe a half a day better based on wearing both for several weeks.
Still, I charge both every night, so it doesn't really matter.
Neither one gets two full days without worries.
Keep in mind that the aluminum Apple watch has an Ion-X glass display, and that's the only type you can get with series one.
And that scratches more easily that the steel sapphire covered models, but those are expensive.
Same storage, speaker phone functions, wi-fi and heart rate, if you want an Apple watch, I'd say go for series1.
If you have last year's version, don't upgrade.
But for anyone else, series1 is the more affordable Apple watch you want.
