The big winner on Stan this month is Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams.
There's a new episode out every Every Monday with a different cast and story each time and it is a total sci-fi nerds dream.
Speaking of sci-fi, J Law and Chris Pratt are in Passengers from October 12 or if monster of the week shows are more your speed, seasons 1 through 12 of Supernatural drop on October 12.
Amazon meanwhile has gone for the opposite of sci-fi, sports.
It scored the rights to Thursday Night NFL, which will air on Friday mornings at 11:30.
But you'll need to watch it live because there's no replay.
If that's not for you, then from October 13, you can watch comic book series The Tick and podcast-turned-TV-show Lore.
Finally Foxtel has some big hit shows returning including The Walking Dead and season three of Mr. Robot.
Now if you haven't caught this one yet, it's well worth a watch, and seasons one and two are available on demand for catchup.
But if the threat of cyber security is just too scary for you, you can watch some more classic horror like Saw and The Ring from Friday the 13th until Halloween.
