The Shadecraft Sunflower is a solar powered patio umbrella that literally follows the sun around so you can shade your eyes.
It is one of the craziest pieces of tech I've seen so far.
And it just is one of the smartest IoT smart home integrations I've seen in a really long time, especially for outdoors.
So it is a patio umbrella.
It also has built in USB.
It has speakers and it's Bluetooth and wi-fi enabled.
It also has upcoming smart home integration, so it's a prototype right now.
But they have plans to integrate with the Nest learning thermostat with Amazon, Alexa, potentially with Google Home, with Apple home kit, Siri based so you can use voice control to say hey open up the shade, rotate the shade.
It's also solar powered so you don't actually have to plug it in to power it and let it do its thing.
It's basically this Crazy autonomous robot arm that just does your bidding for you.
It moves around so that you don't even have to think about shading yourself from the sun.
