Vizio's CinemaWide LED, it's wide, like the cinema
It's Sharon Vaknin for CNET.com taking a first at the Vizio Cinema Wide 71 inch LED TV.
Now, as you can see behind me, this is a pretty wide TV because it's 2560 by 1080 resolution.
Now, because it's 2.37 to 1 aspect ratio, you don't get this annoying black bars when you're watching blue ray movies.
And because it's so wide, Vizio tells us you can multi-task by doing internet apps in one of the screen and watching your video content in the other.
This TV is a full ray LED TV, so instead of just having LED's on the edge, you get them across the entire screen giving you blacker blacks and a pretty high contrast ratio.
This TV comes with four pairs of glasses because of course, it's a 3D TV and bluetooth qwerty keyboard.
There's no pricing yet, but we should expect to see it in stores in the fall.
For CNET.com, I'm Sharon Vaknin.
