Twitter, Google, Facebook join 'trusted' sources group, Amazon Key's first exploit

This is C Net and here are the stories that matter right now. Google, Facebook, Twitter, and Bing signed up with a new program that identifies articles from trusted news sources. The initiative, started by a journalistic ethics group called The Trust Project, is being used by media companies to unify and clarify standards along with background information on the writers who contribute to member sites. A simple program could potentially freeze the video feed for the security camera that monitors Amazon's key service according to a Wired report. A proof of concept video from Rhino Security Labs disabled Amazon's Cloud Cam and kept it on a frozen image, by using a computer within wi-fi range. Amazon will deploy an update addressing the issue [INAUDIBLE] this week. And finally, Facebook is launching a creator app for content creators to become a one stop shop for video creation. The app packs in filters, effects and more, all while allowing for multiple cross platform publishing. Look for the new app on iOS and Android in the coming months.
