We're going to be...we like to show you and prove to you that people do really win. >> It's real. >> So we've got a, we've got a little caller special winner, this is Matthew from Arizona, Matthew are you there? >> I am. >> There he is. >> Matthew, okay. >> Winner. >> Winner, winner, chicken dinner, you are the winner of our, was it our LG 32 inch disp...screen. >> Way, yeah, nice. >> That's right. >> Now is it at your house yet? >> No they just told me yesterday. >> They didn't ship it over night. >> It's a no...now you have an interesting story because I guess initially you weren't the original winner, the original winner's e-mail might have just gone to spam and they never responded to it so Matt diligently. >> He got a second chance... >> Holding on for hope, so tell us how that went down. >> Well, I was actually at work, um, when the e-mail came in, my wife called me in the middle of the day and she's like...did you enter some contest...and so she was, she suspected that it was some sort of phishing scam. >> Oh, obviously, why wouldn't it be, cnet.com phishes like crazy. >> We suspect it too, don't feel bad. >> Well, so and so I...she explained it to me and I was like yeah I think I remember entering that and I enter most of the Crave promotions, contests so. >> That's awesome now you were also one of over 8,000 people. >> 8,100 people and you ended up being the winner, on a second chance, a second draw like that. >> Lucky SOB. >> Yeah he nailed it. >> So a 32 inch TV, where's it going to go Matthew? >> Well, one of two places we only have one TV so it's either going to go in the bedroom or it's going to be a really big computer monitor, we haven't [inaudible]>> Really big. >> That's pretty great, so yeah, you know, it was great talking to you and we just want to show people you win. >> You exist, he's a real Matthew. >> Absolutely. >> All right man. >> Thanks a lot. >> Thanks a lot, happy holidays, that's Matthew real live winner there who brought home the 32 inch TV and $500's Crutchfield could be you just like him. >> And there's another good thing about him he lives in Arizona, it's...it's not that cold in Arizona right now I would suspect. >> Oh, no he's stretched out. >> Yeah. >> He's out there in his short set right now. >> With a Mai Tai, Mai Tai in December. >> [ Laughs ]That sounds good. What are you doing after this crazy show. >> I don't know. >> Debra let's talk about deals over at shopper, what do you got for us, you got a couple of things you want to showcase. >> Yeah, people are dropping prices and I'm taking a look here on our deal section of shopper.com and if you scroll down just a little bit you'll see from Amazon we've got the HP Photosmart M407, it's a digital camera and this price is $144.95, that's a $70 savings so I think that that's a good item, that's got a 3 star user, average user rating. >> Good. >> I like that, I'm all about price and ratings and if you scroll down just a little bit farther...further rather we've got something from Tiger Direct today, it's a View Sonic VX2433, 24 inch wide screen monitor, LCD monitor for $199.99, that's a $60 savings and Tiger Direct is one of our premier merchants. >> Yep, good firm. >> Right that's a 4 star for user rating and a 3 star editor rating. >> That's a nice monitor and a nice price and of course that's just a few of the deals you've got going on today at shoppers so folks, remember when you want to go to cnetshopper.com let me just show you where it is, and I'm not just saying this because it's our...it's our team here at the plate, it really is a great place to go look for deals, daily as we got this holiday thing going on so if you go to the upper right corner of cnetshopper, here's deals right here, com on down to the next thing, today's deals, that's where the fresh stuff is, that's what Debra is telling you about, she doesn't have some secret stash, it's right there blown out for you and you can see we got some other cameras in there. All right here's one of those Western Digital HD media drive type players, that's kind of cool, all kinds of stuff there and that's where you find it, there's a HP camera she talked about so go check that out everyday. Okay, let's do our thing now with Rick Brother, the cheap skate, cheapest man on earth but that's good for us because he does it with tech products, hello Rick. >> How you doing guys? >> Good. >> Doing good, hit me with a deal, what you got today? >> All right well you know what if you're going to get that monitor which is pretty nice at 199, you're going to need a computer to go with it, right. >> Handy. >> Today's deal is a, this one really knocked my socks off, it's a Quadcore HP desk top for 325 [inaudible]. >> Oh, Lord, do you know what I just paid for a similar machine not too long ago, I mean like closer to 8. >> Yeah, yeah, paid well over double this not long ago for the machine I'm using so this is pretty sweet. Now it's a refurbished model so it's a 90 day warranty but you know hey... >> Oh, it's been checked out twice, remember that it's been checked out twice. >> Yeah, absolutely I actually look on that as a positive. >> Twice as nice. >> But if you want one you better act fast because the last time I checked the site just a few minutes ago they were showing about 16 left in stock. >> Go people, go, go now, oh that's a 4 gig load on that on the ram, 500 gig drive. >> That's a killer. >> Certainly enough, DVD burners in there of course wireless is in there it doesn't seem to be missing anything and Quadcore's are great, let me tell you if you're editing video especially you're really into Quadcore, most of the better video editing programs will take advantage of it and well it makes a huge difference if your doing that gaming, I would imagine the same thing, okay Rick thanks a lot, thanks for joining us on that one. Quadcore, desk top, refurbed HP $325 and a minute ago there were only 16 left so if that's not urgent, nothing is. >> All right you know what we do here, we're going to go hit up the phone lines, phone lines are loaded and locked right now, we're going to hit up line 1, Fredrick from San Jose, Fredrick what's up? >> Hey, thanks for taking my call. >> Any time, any times so how can we help you out? >> Well, my wife is pregnant and we're due in December. >> Congratulations. >> Thank you. And we thought that a great gift idea for our parents would be one of the digital picture frames that can automatically stream pictures from like an RSS photo feed or something like that. >> Absolutely, absolutely, now are you looking for any specific features or just a price point on there? >> Mainly price point but also I need that wireless and I'd like it to be a 43 aspect ratio, I'm kind of weirded out by those wide screens like why the hell would you want a wide screen. >> I know for stills, yeah, it doesn't fit, it's a video format that people are trying to put stills on you end up with either a stretched photo or those letter box bars. >> So we actually have...this first frame that I was going to pull up is not a 4 x 3 but the second one I have is...and this is called the Ceiva life digital photo frame, It's spelled C-e-i-v-a. >> Ceiva, yeah. >> Life, Ceiva it's on our holiday gift guide, recommended from our editors and this guy is a wifi enabled photo frame, it is a 4 x 3 format, um, basically you have an int...tons of internet connection options but you can wirelessly manage the photo frame as well, connect it to services as well as you know up load pictures to the frame itself, so you know a lot of times if this is going to be staying at your grand parents house and you want to basically be able to send photos to it. >> Right. >> To a variety of services, this is going to be the frame that will do that job and again like you said you're looking for 4 x 3 frame not kind of one of those weird formatted wide screen ones, this is [inaudible]. >> There's one right there, yeah, the Ceiva pro 80, $147, is at the Ceiva site. >> Sorry, yeah. >> What do we got Debra do we got a line on a Ceiva frame that's a 4-3 ratio? >> I am not seeing the 4-3 ratio. >> All wides. >> On shopper here. >> So this is...how Ceiva works is that you've got a subscription you've got to pay every year, I believe it comes with the first year paid for but then you go to pay...let me check what that fee is because I made the mistake one year of giving my mother one of these, you know what happens she wants new photos every damn day [laughter]. Guess who doesn't keep her subscription up any more, me, yeah I stopped that after...I let that kind of slide and she didn't notice that we don't do that any more because you got to realize once you start the appetite, I'm serious it bit me right in the ass, it's like okay this is not good, she wants photos every few days, I don't see...It used to be $99 a year which is pretty steep after the first year. >> Yeah, that is pretty steep. >> Let me see if I can find some kind of...they're kind of keeping the... >> You know what you're right Cooley from what I'm looking at on our [inaudible] box...it's still saying $99 a year and a three year option at $249 so that is kind of high. >> A little steep. >> Yeah, if you're not...if you don't...I know you want a 4 x 3 but what's more important a 4 x 3 or saving around $100 a year, the Kodak Easy Share W1020 is also another frame that we have and it's wirelessly. >> Kodak has some good ones. >> And it's a wireless enabled, I can't even speak right now, wireless enabled photo frame, that's a W1020, this is a great one as well and it also you know supports MP3 and video play back but you're going to have to kind of weigh that out, 4 x 3 more important or not paying that extra fee. Debra do you have any pricing on that frame specifically? >> Yeah, we've got five stores, premiere stores and it's ranging from actually $169 up to $226 from Amazon, so we've got three stores at $169.99 and that's Amazon Market Place, Crutchfield and Dell. So our friends at Crutchfield again have had some hot pricing. >> Yeah, good will talk to them a little bit later on in the show anyway. And yeah...wireless wifi ability does not necessarily mean you can send an RSS feed to it or set up automated feeds, I don't think we have a line on one of those, I've heard there are some frames that do that. I don't remember which ones those are off the top of my...I want to check with D-Link because they make some and they're a network maker and they might have more of an advanced connectivity because it's kind of their brand premise but wireless will let you obviously do wifi to reach that device as a computer on the network and just drag photos to it. >> This Kodak supports a service frame channel that allows you to subscribe to photo RSS feeds. >> Oh, it does. >> Yes. >> Okay, good. >> so I just found that detail in here so that frame will do that for you as well. >> That's your winner right there, go with the Y and just deal with it. >> I'll just have to crop all my pictures. >> Right I know it's a pain because they don't come out of the camera that way. >> They look so much more cinematic on that frame. >> I know but all your features are right there, all right Fredrick, thanks for the call. >> Awesome, thank you so much. >> Happy holidays, want to get one more in before we take a break? >> Let's go for it. >> Let's do it, let's go to um...um, we got a couple here about digital cameras that I want to jump on, let's try...probably try Luke, he's in Milwaukee and this is about a Nikon D5000 and a Nikon D3000, two cameras he's looking at. Hey, Luke welcome to Holiday Help Desk, how can we help you? >> Hi, thanks for taking my call. >> Sure. >> I'm looking at the two of them, I'm wondering should I wait, price is going to continue to drop or...and is something new going to come out in the spring? >> Well, the first thing that comes to my mind is there's a trade show called PMA, the Photo Marketing Association, that's where the cameras are announced in big numbers, you know you get a whole refresh of a company's line, that's where Nikon might say we have a whole new vanguard of that kind of camera. Let me look up when that happens because that would be the number one thing you'd want to think about is when PA...this is the wrong PA, this is the Produce Marketing Association so don't go to that one [laughter] or you're going to find out when the new carrots are coming out. But let's go to the PMA that works for, I think it's this one here and that's going to tell us when their show is and this is the Imaging Association, PMA let me find out when their show is...what did you say Bonnie, March? >> I think it's March. >> Yeah because we cover this show, we send Laurie, Laurie Grunen out there and those folks, here we go, registering info, anyway this is going to be the time when you will see new cameras, so we're a few months out and with that in mind, here we are it's February this year, it's a little earlier, February, late February, it's going to be in southern California near Disneyland at Anaheim so that's going to tell you...you got about two months to wait if you want to see what the new vanguard is on cameras, um, I would wait because you're looking to buy a real nice camera here, you know one that's got some real good legs and that you're going to have for a while, if you're worried about future proofing that's not too long to wait, I mean how much is it killing you, that you don't have this yet...you okay with that, can you wait a while...oh, Luke don't get in a snit and stop talking to me, I just said you got to wait for your camera, I didn't say you were a good human being, all right we lost Luke on the line there. >> The thing about it...I was also...I mean off the top of my head to be honest I'm not super familiar with these cameras but the D3000 was reviewed in September which was only a couple of months ago. >> Yeah. >> So that model must be pretty fresh. >> Yeah, it's very fresh. >> So ideally you're not going to see and update happen in the next month or two anyways. >> Right not on that model. >> Not on that specific model. >> Probably not at the slot, let me just show you the review we've got on that because Laurie loved this camera, the D3000 even though it's the lower model in the range it's a fresher model than the D5000. We give this guy a 3 1/2, it's gets and 8 for design, a 6 for features, a little more basic than a higher camera but the image quality is an 8, that's what you look for in a DSLR, you're a photographer looking for a camera like this you don't need it to do every single damn thing for you and the only bad thing on it was a basic feature set, beyond that we thought it was an outstanding camera with great image quality and that might be just the way to go and the pricing on that, Debra what do we have for Nikon D3000 again? >> Well, actually we have a lot of merchants carrying that right now and that's...I'm looking at, let's see 469 up to I think I saw 549. >> And that's with a basic lens I think. >> Yes. >> It's not body only. >> No. >> So that's nice, that's a good price so for that kind of price I think I would jump on it and then maybe later get something else but at BT points out the D3000 is still a fresh model so I wouldn't feel too bad about that. >> Okay, our phones are open, 888 900-CNET, 888 900-2638, we've cleared a couple of lines, we've got a little more space for you to jump in there and coming up after a short break we're going to be talking to Scott Anderson from crutchfield.com that's where this $500 beauty come from which is our current...get away from me BT, which is our current give away that you can enter by going to crave.cnet.com right now entering a comment about this like...oh something simple like I want it, give it to me. That's more coming up as the Holiday Help Desk continues. ^M00:16:37 [ Music ] ^M00:16:43 >> If you think all batteries are the same consider this, these Duracell batteries were given to the Mattel children's Hospital, UCLA, because when it comes to kids and healing, you're not just powering a toy, you're powering a smile. It's more than a Christmas, it's been like a life long build up, yeah. >> It's nice. >> It's great. >> I love it. >> Oooh, so the phones are open. >> 888 900-CNET, in fact speaking of cars the original place to go and have as an on line super store for Cartech is crutchfield.com, they're a lot more than just Cartech these days. But let's check in with them, we got Scott Anderson here from Crutchfield, hello Scott, welcome to Holiday Help Desk. >> Ladies and gentlemen, how are you? >> We're good, we're good. >> Good. >> and you know I just talked about how you guys were such a well spring for Cartech and that's kind of your legacy from back in the day but you guys expand beyond that and interestingly enough we're talking all TV's today aren't we. >> We are. >> Let's talk about your deals, you've got them graded like the mama bear and the papa bear, you know bigger, smaller, larger, just right so let's start with the more compact set you're talking about. >> We got a 32 inch, Sharp LCD with built in DVD player, remember when these used to take up ton of space, now you do it with an LCD side load, so vacuum side load built in DVD player for $499. >> Nice. >> That's nice for a 32 that's a pretty good size set and I love the built in DVD for a bedroom TV because that's the last place you want a clutter of AV gear, you know it just doesn't look right there so it's nice to have a built in for that. All right give me something that's more of a medium size. >> The medium size and probably the most popular size this holiday season is a 40 inch Toshiba, the 40XV645 is a 40 inch 1080P100 [inaudible] for 7... >> 799, 799. >> I'm pulling the wrong TV up here hang on one second, I got the wrong television. >> [inaudible] >> Wha...wha...what...you're under water Scott. >> Scott's doing the remix of EJ. >> The joy of Skype, we got the idea, okay we got the idea. Now hit me with something a little bit bigger, let's take it up a notch. >> A little bit bigger a 47 TV, a big living room TV is now 1080P, 240 hertz so even better, 1199, this is also a Toshiba. >> Okay, there we go, yeah, so 1399, $200 off, 1199 for that guy, that's part of their Regza line, that's kind of a premium line for Toshiba isn't it? >> That is, a 240 hertz is a great technology. >> Yeah. >> That will get your [inaudible] ready in a hurry. >> Okay, now let's go koo-koo large. >> For the kids that like them big, the 65 inch, 1080P 120 hertz, [inaudible] 2799 this thing is $700 off for the next week. >> Okay so here's the number one reason you want to buy this at Crutchfield because it's too big to fit in your car. You got to get it on line, how you going to get this thing home, it won't fit in anything except a big, old, SUV and unless you got one of those you want to have UPS do the heavy lifting, so let Crutchfield ship this...65 inch. >> We'll bring this to your house. >> Wow, that's nice, okay. >> Do you guys also happen to do ceiling mounting for a TV like that [laughter]. >> Wow, now you're talking. >> I am talking, you [inaudible]I'm talking. >> That's a great sideline, that's where you should be going. >> [inaudible] in a 65 inch. >> Ceiling mounted my friend, ceiling mounted. >> That why we call him ''big pimping'' all the time. All right Scott thanks a lot, hey we appreciate it, good having you on board. >> That's great stuff. >> All right, thanks Scott, see you later, Scott Anderson there from Crutchfield and of course they are the folks that provided this $500 gift card that is the current live promotion at CNET Crave, this is today's giveaway that will be going tomorrow's show, we'll know who won, go to crave.cnet.com make a comment on this card it's right near the top of the listings if you search giveaway and that'll get you in the entry to run a $500...this will buy a nice TV and just about anything else you could probably want at crutchfield.com and this by the way folks, this may strike you as a...as an advertising flyer but I call it the Bible. >> The Bible [laughs]. By the way I just want to add that all those deals that he...Scott just talked about. >> You can beat. >> No. >> It's getting ugly now. >> No, that was a special, those were special items in two shopper feeds so when you go on shopper you'll find those and you can actually see what a great deal it is because most of the other merchants are $100... >> You got the other merchants there, they can't match it. >> That's right. >> Nice. >> So check it out. >> We don't play favorites folks, we go and find merchants, we certify them, right and if someone's better they go to the top. >> That's right. >> Okay, it's real straight forward and honest, all right good stuff there. Now it's time for another gift idea that I think you're going to find very cool, it's an inexpensive but really good MP3 play and inexpensive works in a year like this, right, Jasmine France is going to show you a great player that's not going to break the bank and is going to make someone say...Ipod, what's that, take a look. ^M00:22:32 [ Music ] ^M00:22:35 >> If it ain't broken don't fix it. That has to be one of my favorite sayings and I love it when tech companies abide by it. I'm Jasmine France and I'm here with the Sandisk Sansa Clip Plus and this is a follow up device to the excellent Sansa Clip and I'm just so thrilled that Sandisk has managed to keep the spirit of the original clip and yet improve upon it. So let's take a look at the design first. It's actually a pretty noticeable change to the design even though it's minor, it's got a kind of different body shape, just very slightly, it's got the curved edges and then instead of having a color, a plastic color that wraps all the way around the device, it has kind of a brushed, black plastic back that wraps and curves around the front of the device. Now that's a little different from the boxiness of the original shuffle. Now the overall effect of this updated design is that the new clip has slightly more higher quality feel to it so we definitely like that. And this player still of course has the built in clip on the back because you have to have the clip otherwise you can't call it the clip. A couple other physical characteristics that are a little bit different on this player, they've moved the dedicated volume rocker to the left side here next to the standard USB port and that is in order to make room for a micro SD card slot. Now as you might recall with the original clip there was no card expansion, now that's kind of rare because every other Sandisk player has it so it's great to see that Sandisk decided to include it on this player. Now in order to make room for this card they actually had to get rid of the physical power and hold switch, now instead they put a power button on the top and they integrated the hold functionality into the home button on the front so they've retained all the functionality of the device but kind of updated, refreshed, the design a little bit and one other thing you might notice is that the control pad is a square instead of a circle, everything else pretty much remains the same on this player, the on screen menu and navigation pretty much the same, it has a small monochrome display, it would have been nice to see it get a little bit bigger, maybe have bigger writing but don't really need it on a device this size so that's not really a knock there, there is voice recording, a built in FM tuner and of course your music selection and it does support a variety of audio kodaks, it supports MP3, WMA including protected WMA and rhapsody DNA as well as Augvorbis, slack and auto files and has separate menus selectors for audio books and podcast, which is great because we love to keep those separate. The one thing that is missing is AC support, we would have liked to see that but that's just a relatively minor gripe there, also some people might appreciate the ability to navigate via folder view so if you don't want to navigate by artist or genre you have that option. Like the previous generation clip this is a 15 hour reign of battery life which isn't great but it's adequate, would have liked to see that go up a little bit but that's okay with something this small. It also has the same audio chip which means you're going to get the same good sound quality that you got from the original clip. Now the big news with this player is the pricing which is unsurprising because Sandisk has a tradition of offering an extremely low pricing on their flash players. You can get a 2 gigabyte version for just $39.99, a 4 gigabyte for $49.99 and an 8 gigabyte for $69.99 and that is just a fantastic value considering all the features you get with this player. I'm Jasmine France and this is the new Sandisk Sansa Clip Plus. ^M00:25:47 [ Music ] ^M00:25:50. >> All right thank you Jasmine, that player is awesome. >> Yeah. >> FM radio and it...they added a... >> Yeah. >> Micro SD card slot to that thing. >> I know, it's ridiculous. >> It's rally hot, you know, aside from the fact that it's not the prettiest thing on earth but. >> But at that size. >> At that size and that price and those features. >> I don't even care Don, love it. >> Yeah. >> Okay here we go, were going to go hit up the phone lines, we're wrapping up but we want to get all the calls that we can in, we're going to take Allen from Florida, Allen how you doing? >> Hey, how are you guys? >> Doing good, doing good, how can we help you out man? >> Okay I'm in between two phones, I'm with Sprint, my contract's over, previously I was using a Blackberry Curve so now I'm in between the HTC Hero or the Samsung Moment. >> Excellent. >> I'm using the HTC Hero and every once in a while it seems sluggish, like slow on the menus and I haven't tried Moment, what you guys thing about both of them, which one do you think is best? >> Okay, do you have a priority of a touch screen phone versus a physical keyboard phone since you had a Curve before? >> No because I also have an Ipod touch so I'm comfortable with both of them. >> see you can go both ways, you're versatile like that right? >> Yeah. >> As far as like [inaudible] because I'm used to like, even though the Blackberry is not as responsive as a like Iphone I'm used to the responsibleness of the Ipod touch. >> Yeah, which is one of the snappier devices definitely. So here's the thing with the Moment and the ACC Hero, really being able to use both phones my self, the kind of...sometimes the OS chugs a little and slows down because of the processor, you're kind of find those same things going on with the Moment as well, you know neither one of them is using a more dominant processor, you know you won't...if you're spoiled by...when you play with devices that are really snappy you kind of get spoiled by them and then when you use devices that aren't as fast or responsive then you kind of wish for that but on these two phones specifically they're about the same when it comes to sometimes it gets sluggy or sometimes it bogs down, it is not unusable but if you kind of felt that the Hero was too sluggish for you, you'll probably find the same thing with the Moment as well, but again these are not poor performing phones, it's just that when you're used to that snappiness then you probably won't be as happy or as stoked about that with these two phones. >> Okay. >> But either way. >> Yeah. Thanks a lot. >> Yeah, so that's a push, um, if it was me, myself personally I love the Heros customizable interface with the [inaudible] that's what puts it over the top between these two phones for me. >> That's your pick. >> You have a lot more home screens and a lot more versatility to customize it so I would lean that way but it's really going to be up to you, okay. >> Okay, thanks a lot. >> Cool, thanks Allen. >> Thanks for the call, let's go to Athens, Georgia, we got Tim standing by, he just wants a price check, just that simple. >> Hey. >> Tim's easy to live with. >> Hey, keep it easy for us. >> Hey, Tim welcome to Holiday Help Desk, how are you my low overhead friend? >> Very good, very good, I'm...yeah this one isn't going to help a whole lot of people I think. >> Its helps you that's that matters. >> Well, I don't know, let's see, let's see, what do you got? >> I've got a...I'm looking for a Nikon SU800. I found it for 250 in a couple of places with free shipping, I think if I do J and R and I use PayPal I can get $10 off but I was hoping for something better than that. >> Now an SU800 is not a camera, is it, isn't it a flash? >> It's a flash controller, it's an infrared flash controller for the new CLS. >> So you can slave several flashes to a single camera is that what it's for? >> Correct. >> Uh, you're a photographer, I like that, huh, okay so let's see what we can do, let's throw a curve ball at...at a and see what we can get here out of the shopper data base. >> Okay, so my elves actually have been doing some work behind the scenes but I will first tell you Tim that our best price also is $249.95 and I think that was J and R, however some others working behind the scenes came up with a Nikon issue 4 wireless slave flash controller at $84.95 from Amazon Market Place, we also...SU4. >> Is the SU4, do you know anything about the SU4? >> That is something totally different. >> Oh, it is, okay... >> that's just like a dumb slave. >> Oh. >> You want a smart one [laughter]. >> Whoa there, all right. >> Smarty boy. >> All right, all right so I'll talk to the elf about that later but what about the Metz SCA383. >> You got to love the Metz products, right. >> Metz products and that's $64.95 is that a dummy also or is that a smart one. >> It's not going to work. >> No this is systems stuff yeah, $249, $249, this kind of stuff lie you say it's not really super popular so limited discounting. >> Yeah, I was hoping that they'd be like a store coupon you know like the $10 off $100 that J and R has. >> Yeah. >> That you might have something like that. >> A general coupon, yeah, we don't have anything like that right now. >> No, no, no. >> Where a person's offering a blanket discount or stuff, yeah. >> No, no. >> I'll say this is the time of year when they can usually not have to do that, they do, do specials and stuff but giving blanket coupons is not so much a holiday thing. >> Nope. >> Okay. >> All right so that's about as good as you're going to do but it's nice to have a real photographer call in, that's pretty impressive. >> [inaudible] >> All right thanks a lot Tim, thanks a lot Tim, I appreciate at it on that one. Let's do one last one a bonus round here just because we got Michael coming in form Virginia, he's got a questions he's looking for an Ipod dock, something totally off the cuff here. Michael you're the last call on Holiday Help Desk today, what can we help you with? >> Awesome thanks guys, how you guys doing today? >> Good. >> Doing good. >> Awesome, awesome, hey I'm looking for an Ipod dock for a friend for Christmas, last year my buddies got me one, they got me a Sony one, looking for something in the 100, 150 range, good quality. >> so you looking for an Ipod dock speaker set specifically? >> Yeah. >> When you say Ipod dock. >> Howard speaker with a dock, there's a lot of choices, we have JBL and Bose that come to mind immediately for me. >> Yeah, what we're going to do here is just off the cuff we're going to pull this up, um, atsena.com, I just typed in Ipod dock and I went for the highest rated ones that we do have form out site, what we have within the $100 range is the Altec Lansing In Motion, IM600, it's you know it's been in the Ipod speaker market for as long as I can remember, it also is an FM radio player, you know it's a portable, it's about 11 inches, it's not going to give you really large booming sound but in that $99 range that's one of the options. Logitech also makes some really nice ones... >> Here's that Altec Lansing guy, it looks kind of like this, see you've got this...is that it there... >> Yeah, that's it, that's it. >> Yeah, so it's been around...it's an oldy but a goody in a sense, I mean it's been on market for a while but we give it a solid 4 stars, we don't really have any serious gripes with it, I mean what do we say the bad is here...it does not secure your Ipod from falling out, well unless you're lugging this thing around like boom box on your shoulder. >> Yeah, which you might want to. >> As BT would do [laughter]. The alarm clock feature only works for the Ipods, I guess there's no chime and the rechargeable battery is nor removable. It's got a battery so you can take it around cordless. The other one I like in that same ca...a little more money is the JBL, this is the JBL 400IHD. It rolls in HD radio, which is kind of cool and also has the Ipod dock so if you want HD radio, if you want to step into that and the clock radio functions, it's a little gaudy with all those nasty chrome buttons across the top right there if you can kind of see right there but you know the JBL's generally of have this space man look so that's kind of a look and feel to get that in front of you there, there he goes see what it looks like and your Ipod goes on top and that guy's going to come in a little bit higher, it's going to be...what's our price there. >> $219-209. >> 2...no less than that this is the 400 by HD...$125.98. >> Okay. >> Yeah. >> Okay. >> Is the shopper best price. I just love me some JBL...I just love me some JBL for those Ipod docks, they sound good. >> Winner, winner. >> It sounds good, yeah okay, all right Michael. >> I appreciate it guys. >> We like those, happy holidays. >> [inaudible] >> Bye, that's it...we got a winner from yesterday though didn't we. >> Yeah. >> We had a winner of the Blu-Ray player, the Insignia. >> The Insignia. >> That we got from Best Buy. >> With the media live features in it, it's wireless. >> And that...okay and that winner was who...OL-Type 1. >> Are you serious? >> That's the hardest pronounced. >> OL Type 1. >> OL type 1. >> OL Type 1. >> Maybe it's his blood type or something. >> Wow, you just rally shook us up there. >> But a guy, okay let's get me out of here. Anyway go to Crave right now that's beautiful, he won himself a Blu-Ray player, you can win a $500 gift card at Crutchfield, I'll be your friend when you get that. >> He needs...he needs friends. >> I need friends and I need $500 for the friend as well. >> All right Tom and I will be here tomorrow with Jeff Backlore from the west...from the east coast, I'm sorry about that...Debra are you going to be back here? >> I will be here with my...with my special hat for shopping for deals. >> And why didn't you wear it all show? >> Well, I'm just getting used to the idea. >> Okay, okay. >> But tomorrow for sure, this is my deal searching hat. >> All right, folks, that's faux fur, don't worry. >> No it could be real. >> Don't worry or I'd be on strike. >> One p.m. Pacific, four p.m. Eastern time, we'll be here Holiday Help Desk, thanks for hanging out, we'll see you guys tomorrow. >> Bye, folks see you. ^M00:34:50 [ Music ] ^M00:34:55
