Hi, guys.
This is the OCZ VX500 solid-state drive, or SSD, from Toshiba.
Now, this is a standard SSD, meaning it can fit in all computers that have a standard set up port.
Almost all of them do.
There's two things about this drive.
First, it's fast.
In my testing, it has to sustain real world copy speed of close to 450 megabyte per second.
That's really fast.
And that's great.
The second thing, which is not so great, is the price.
It's kind of expensive.
And this drive of 512 gigabyte here, has a suggested retail price of $153, the drive's also available in 128GB, 256GB and 1TB.
Now Toshiba does say that the street price will likely be [INAUDIBLE] Lower.
So keep that in mind.
And to make up for the high cost, the VX 500 here has a very cool warranty.
Five years, and [UNKNOWN] this time in case of defect, Toshiba will ship you a new drive.
first before we have to ship back the old drive, plus it paid for the shipping cost, and that's nice.
Also the drive comes with this shiny aluminum casing here, making this feel like it was extra dollars went when you first take it out of the box.
Make sure to [UNKNOWN] because after that you put it inside the computer and might never see it again.
And the drive also include a lesson of Acronis True Image HD for drive cloning.
In case you want to you just want to upgrade for your computer that's been run on a regular hard drive like this one or this one.
That will make you very convenient.
And by the way, the new VX 500 drive has very high [UNKNOWN] rating, meaning you can write a lot to it before it becomes unreliable.
For example, this [UNKNOWN] special here.
If you write 50 GB per day and every day will take you 16 years.
Before you ran off.
And to get the one terabyte version it will take you 32 years.
And by the way, of course I have the one terabyte right here so check back with me in 32 years to see how I [UNKNOWN] Just take my word for it that's best.
That's because I'm [UNKNOWN] and this is the OCZ VX500 from [UNKNOWN] Toshiba.
