These are the top five new features in the next IOS.
The developer version of IOS 10.3 is out right now.
So people, dig in through it.
At number five, apple file system.
This file system is already in MacOS and is optimized for flash storage.
The kind of storage found in IOS devices like iPhones and iPads.
So why does this matter?
Apple says that this file system has encryption as a primary feature.
And encryption is nice when you wanna keep your stuff nice and private.
At number four, a floating keyboard.
This feature was found by a user on Twitter.
It's a keyboard that shrinks down to allow for one handed typing.
It's a small feature, but it brings back a lot of screen real estate for things that are not a keyboard.
And number three, iCloud storage explained.
The settings app gained an iCloud storage feature that shows you what is taking up your iCloud space.
A feature like this has been available on iCloud.com for awhile but that should have been built into iOS as well.
At Number 2, Sirikit.
Siri will have more functions.
Sirikit was introduced by Apple with iOS 10.
iOS.3 will see Siri gain the ability to check the status of payments, pay bills, and schedule rides with apps like Uber.
Anything that makes Siri smarter is a good thing.
And at number 1, FIND MY AIRPODS.
The Find My iPhone app will gain a FIND MY AIRPODS feature.
Airpods are Apple's wireless headphones that look really, really easy to lose.
The feature uses your iOS devices location in conjunction with bluetooth to locate the airpod.
If your phone can't find your airpod using bluetooth, the Apple tell you the last price they were when you last connected them.
And those were the teeny, tiny changes to iOS could make to some people really happy.
And others, wildly annoyed.
