Add Jenn-Air to the list of appliance companies that will now work with Nest.
The luxury appliance brand announced at the Architectural Digest Design Show they would integrate with the learning thermostat beginning this summer.
So, let's say you're cooking and the kitchen gets a little hot.
You can program the nest learning thermostat to turn down the temperature a degree or two when it detects that you're using the Jenn Air wall oven.
On its own, the Jenn Air connected wall oven is pretty impressive already.
It has an app that works with the oven to which you can use the Culinary Center, which will walk you through cooking.
So if you want to cook a pot roast or vegetables you can select the best features that will get you a better result for your meal.
Now Ginere is owned by Whirlpool and the parent company announced earlier this year at CES that some of its ovens would also work with nest.
Along with a partnership with Amazon, Whirlpool is looking to connect to the smart home platforms in a really strong way.
