This huge D-Link camera is like a bull in a china shop

The first thing you're going to notice right off the bat about this D-Link camera for 180 bucks is that it's absolutely gigantic.
Compare it next to the Nexcam or Samsung Smartcam HD Plus, or even the Kodak camera I reviewed recently, and this one is at least an inch and a half taller.
Add on the fact that set up through the app is extremely convoluted.
And it's hard to recommend this camera right away but if you give it a little time, if you go through the initial setup.
And if it's hulking size doesn't throw you off too much, this is actually a really good camera.
One thing that really sets this camera apart is its 180 degree field of view.
We've only seen that with a couple other cameras, especially under $200.
It also offers local storage, which is a really unique combination of features.
So if you're looking for those two things, I'd recommend this camera, especially if you can overlook its gargantuan size.
