The newest Lime scooters beef up for safety at CES 2019
Hey guy i am Iyaz Akhtar, and this is the brand new version of the lime scooter, you guys have heard about this things are everywhere, you thinking lime, you think about litter but this new model is being redesigned for safety, you could see it's much bigger, it's prettier, you got bigger tires.
It's got dual suspension.
They tell me the point was for more safety.
If you're riding this, and you go over a pothole, and you're on this big platform, you're probably not going to be falling over.
You might notice something different about this Lime scooter, it has a full color display.
Now, the older models didn't have any displays whatsoever, but in the future you'll be able to see GPS navigation right there, that way, you're not staring at a phone.
That's also another safety feature.
Now the older model will go back 20 miles to recharge.
this newer, larger model can go up to 30 miles before you need to recharge it.
One of the features of this new version of the scooter is it's entirely waterproof.
Now, I don't see you taking this into a lake but if there was some really bad weather, this would be protected from the elements.
These new scooters will also feature parking detection.
That's right, these Lime scooters are aren't supposed to be everywhere.
The scooter will tell you where it's supposed to be parked.
You know, I would ride this away if i could right now, but it said I'm not allowed to.
So I'm [UNKNOWN] and I'm standing on the new Lime scooter.
