The Asus Memo Pad 10: Quad-core, big-screen Android on a budget
Tech Industry
I'm Andrew Hoyle for CNET and I'm here at the IFA Show in Berlin taking a look at the ASUS MeMO Pad 10.
It's a 10-inch Android slate with a plastic body, a quad-core processor, and hopefully a very affordable price tag.
With this glossy plastic casing and thick bezel, it's easy to tell this is more of a budget option, but it's still not really what you'd call unattractive.
It has a very plain design and if you're not keen on white you'd be pleased to know it's available in gray and pink too.
Its 10-inch display has a 1280x800 pixel resolution.
It's a bit of a disappointment it is not full HD but at least its cheap price will make that worthwhile.
It has a 1.6 gigahertz quad-core processor which should make things fairly nippy, at least plenty for your everyday social networking essentials.
It's running on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and you'll also find a whole load of ASUS software and apps onboard too.
ASUS hasn't yet said exactly how much it's going to cost but we are expecting it to be very affordable.
It's due to go on sale before the end of the year.
So make sure to keep it at CNET for all the latest news.
